[Duvida] Fazer boot a partir de um HDD externo.

Boas

Tenho um LaCie ext. HDD de 160gb versao porsche design, e gostava de criar uma partiçao para fazer boot do ubuntu no meu macbook.
Alguem sabe se dà para fazer boot a partir de uma HDD externa?

Sim da. Se o HDD for de portas USB da.. Faço isso nas aulas de TIC, tenho o ubuntu numa pen  

Agora se for para explicar e mais complicado.. Vais as opçoes da BIOS.. Penso eu..

Sim, no PC com windows sei fazer isso, mas num mac nunca experimentei. Nem sei como aceder ao Openfirmware no macboob, porque dantes nos ppc era sò carregar no cmd-opt-o-f. No macbook nao acontece nada quando faço isso.
