Acho que ainda não tinham noticiado aqui....

É uma tristíssima e revoltante notícia para quem já correu às lojas à procura de placas com suporte para DirectX10....

Tenho pena do pessoal que comprou. Ainda bem que ainda não comprei um pc novo, tinha sido dinheiro no lixo. Viva a Microsoft...

Nah... deve ser um bugzito ali, outro aculi.. xD

mas isso é muito mau... não sei se há alguem que vá depois comprar uma gráfica nova só para o DX10.1

Do 10 para o 10.1 nem há muito que os fabricantes de hardware precisem de saber, nem muito que os fabricantes de jogos precisem de saber, só que as alterações trazem incompatibilidade...

Microsoft\\'s Sam Glassenberg told Next-Gen in a phone interview, "DX10.1 fully supports DX10 hardware. No hardware support is being removed....It\\'s strictly a superset. It\\'s basically an update to DX10 that extends the hardware functionality slightly."

He said that the update is similar to what Microsoft did with DX9. "We did make updates to [DX9] that extended the supported feature set.

"All the hardware is still supported, all the games still run, all the features are still there, we\\'ve just simply extended the feature set and the lifetime of the API,"

ainda nao percebi o problema da evolução do DX10 para DX10.1

segundo percebi o problema é que o Direct3D 10.1 que fornece uma série de novos recursos de renderização e AntiAliasing e operações de ponto flutuante 32 bits (ao invés dos de 16 bits usados hoje como padrão)

isso vai estar disponível na próxima geração de placas gráficas, as que agora existem vao funcionar so que nao vão tirar partido das melhorias, porque essas melhorias exigem outro tipo de hardware... é preciso lembrar que não existe nenhum motor grafico de jogo que use esse novo sistema, nem tão cedo vai haver pela falta de suporte hardware, e porque as melhorias não compensam um novo hardware...

(empresas como a nVidia e ATI com o DX10.1 SDK beta à meses)


DirectX 10.1 não requer novas GPUs
