Entretanto ,a Kotaku , elaborou uma votação sobre o caso e os resultados foram:
    51.3% = I\\'ve never lost or seen anyone loose grip on a Wii Remote

    19.9% = I didn\\'t buy a Wii and this isn\\'t news

    13.2% = I am a lonely man who can crush a Volkswagen with my right hand.  (Is this supposed to be a joke?  Who could honestly crush a Volkswagen?  What would a single guy have as an advantage over a... oh wait... ahhh, I get it.)

    11.7% = I or a friend has lost grip on a Wii Remote, but the strap caught it.

    3.9% = I or a frined has lost grip on a Wii Remote and the strap failed (That\\'s 319 votes I should add)
