[Duvida] Instalar linux através duma pen

Ola! Saquei mesmo agora o Ubuntu, mas não tenho nenhum cd/dvd disponivel. Entertanto a ums dias comprei uma pen de 1gb e gostava de instalar o UbuntU a partir de la.. Como faço isso?

Que eu saiba isso não é possível visto que sacaste isso no formato .iso

Eu tb tenho um problema, saquei o slax, e instalei num stick com 4gb, para tentar usar no meu portatil da toshiba, mas aquilo quando está a carregar pára e tenho que desligar o portátil. Alguem sabe como instalar em portáteis?

O problema é que os portáteis são diferentes, deve haver uma outra maneira para instalar.

Dá se a mobo suportar arraque por USB. Estas mais recentes suportam. E só arranca se estiver instalado na pen ou o ISO for de um liveCD.
